Radio-Frequency (RF)

As with Acousto-Magnetic, SecurityMax™ can offer a large range of Amersec® brand Radio-Frequency (RF) systems. Available in two formats, the Dual System and the Mono System, there is a model to suit any application.

The digital DUAL systems are an ideal solution for any boutique and can be supplied from 3.25 MHz through to 10.5 MHz with 8.2 MHz being the most common frequency. These environment-friendly systems have a strong detection field between a minimum of two pedestals and feature all of the latest developments. Electromagnetic (EM)

SecurityMax™ is an authorised sales and service agent for the Tag-Alert™ library security system range which are fully compatible with 3M™, Tag-Alert™ and Knogo® tags. This means that if you are upgrading from an existing 3M™ system there is no need to re-tag your entire collection.

 

Tag-Alert™ library security systems are high quality systems manufactured in Germany, use the most modern electronics, have self-adjusting microprocessors and have slim and durable panels with the option of clear Plexiglas® finish, therefore allowing the panels to be non-obtrusive while providing an excellent level of security for your library.

 

There are various options available including coloured panel inserts and larger single and multiple aisle configurations ranging from 91cm up to 1.5mt per aisle.

Radio frequency identification (RFID)

Tag-Alert™ hardware and software solutions, based on the 13.56 MHz range, are exclusively produced for use in libraries to create ergonomic materials handling for staff and greatly reduces the time spent processing resources.

 

A complete RFID solution includes; self-loans systems, staff workstations, hand held readers, security panels and even sorting robots.

 

Self-loans systems are designed to speed up the loans and returns process by allowing patrons to carry out this process themselves. They can be modular in design to fit into your existing cabinetry or we can provide the cabinets.

 

i-Loan™ staff workstations along with the i-Loan™ Hand Held Unit will greatly reduce staff time spent lending items, finding items and sorting items. Both the workstation and the hand held can be used to read / write data onto the RFID chip.

 

There are multiple security panel (antenna) options available in our RFID range. The range starts with our standard panel, being a robust polyurethane composite and goes through to our crystal clear Plexiglas® panel, the ‘Sail’.
